I am an academic nitwit sometimes.

I had an impressive term, doing rather well in all 5 of my Fall courses (which is a feat not only in that I did well, but in that I did 5 at all -- I usually only take 4). In addition to these courses, however, I was still dealing with 3 distance education classes. One I did okay in, that ended in October; one I didn't do at all, which I would have failed if not for the sweet, sweet blessing of a nice prof and a paper-thin academic concession; and one I thought I was doing well in, until this past week.

So I kept saying I was going to write this term paper. And I kept saying it. And saying it.

So tonight, on the eve of the final exam, I finally did it. And in reading the course package, discovered that all assignments must be completed in order to be eligible to write the final exam.

Uh. oh.

So, after finishing the term paper at 4:00am, I wrote another paper on three books, two of which I haven't read. Uh, smrt.

I emailed them both in twenty minutes ago, at 6:00am. I'm now going to take an hour long power nap, and hope to god they don't turn me away at the door of the exam.

If I fail this one, I totally, totally deserve it.

*fingies crossed*
