Ten thoughts for the current week:

1. went to SSI to visit friends and relatives, both sick and well. feeling full of love. came to obvious conclusion that cancer sucks my ass. may develop hypochondria in near future.

2. though too ignorant to comment on larry campbell in any significant way, am still stoked on his realistic and refreshing public statements about legalizing pot. love when politicians recognise that not all dope smokers end up shooting heroin.

3. took some photographs that i'm inappropriately proud of. suppose i should learn to be modest, but they give me too much hope and happiness. decided 100% to attend photography school.

4. made plans to spend an extended period of time on a tropical island surfing. am excited for my first year of freedom EVER IN MY LIFE.

5. realized that those months of irrational crying and weird hopelessness were probably clinical depression. made mental note (pun intended?) to seek counselling (if there is a) next time.

6. gotten relatively used to being single again. like a pair of old shoes. feels strange, but worn in.

7. falling behind in school, as usual.

8. met a famous photographer and said stupid things. wished again for elegance and poise. so much for embracing my quirky sketchiness.

9. wished i had a cat, until my parent's cat peed on my jacket. still sort of wished for one anyway.

10. feel recharged. first time coming to ssi to recoup/regroup actually worked.
