On a much more positive note:

Same Sex marriage has been approved and endorsed by the Supreme Court of Canada, my Astronomy exam went well, the sun is shining and there isn't a single cloud in the sky, and our new furnace pumps beautiful hot air through our house, clicking on and off with the comforting regularity of a mother's heartbeat to a gestating baby.

Aah. Life is okay this morning.
