Tonight I went to party with unwashed hair in a ponytail, wearing unwashed jeans and a raincoat, and I ended up feeling cuter and more comfortable than I have in a long time. Maybe it was the first time in a while I haven't scrutinized in a mirror before going out in public. Or maybe I just felt like I went out as me, instead of putting on clothes and makeup and a hairstyle in an attempt to feel a little more unlike the self that I'm often dissatisfied with. Perhaps I like myself a little bit better uncovered.

I think it's time to disrobe my vanities. Admit them once and for all and then let them go, for good.

Perhaps.

Clean slate -

- dirty clothes at a party.

Hmm.
