My body is rejecting this island. This lifestyle. This stagnant feeling that only comes when I know whatever I'm doing is coming to an end.

Sick again.

I wish I could just crawl into bed completely naked without setting an alarm and curl up under my duvet and sleep.

Instead, I kick off the covers because of the heat and wake up hot with nightmares of being attacked on city streets and breathe deep and go to sleep again only to wake up to the buzz of the clockradio.

Summer grows on me a little each year, but I'm still an autumn girl at heart.

I want a hundred days of rain.
