One on top of the other.

Slowly - very slowly - the boxes pile up. A stack of matching yellow milkcrates filled with books sits on our hall table. I always start with the books; they fit so easily into boxes, perfect right angles, so little wasted space. It's hard to believe that I've crammed five milkcrates' worth of knowledge into my head... and that's just what I bought and kept.

I received my first A+ from UBC this morning. I am shocked. I guess my mother's right - I do tend to underestimate myself. Perhaps I have actually learned something here in the past few years. I'm finally starting to feel... well, educated.

I am slowly unwinding. I am not an academic failure. I am employed. I am pulling up my roots, and transplanting.

Rock.
