Just when I thought our neighbours to the south couldn't get any more backward...

In Georgia they banned consentual, adult, female genital piercings. Not male piercings, mind you. Only female.

Check it out.

Also, check out a more biased article here.

Here's a fun quote from Representative Bill Heath:

"What? I've never seen such a thing," Heath said. "I, uh, I wouldn't approve of anyone doing it. I don't think that's an appropriate thing to be doing."

For the love of God, when will people stop forcing their own morals/beliefs/ignorance on other people?

A CLIT RING HURTS NO ONE. A CLIT RING IS ONLY GOOD TIMES.

Sure, I like the part about adults not forcing kids to get clit rings. Of course I'm against forced female genital mutilation.

But nobody can tell me what I can and cannot do with my own body, if it doesn't involve anyone else. Is it offending you? Too bad. Is it hurting you? NO.

*bristles*

I'm ten times more motivated to get my own clit pierced now.

Damn.
