So I tried to write a novel.

What?

Yes, that's right, a novel. In fact, a 50,000 word novel (more a novella, really) in a mere 30 days.

Crazy?

Sure was. SURE WAS. I stopped at about 3,200. Term papers, exams, laziness, drinking... you'd have to be a hermit to finish this. Anyway, I tried. Of course it's not great - or at least, that wasn't the goal. The goal was quantity my friends, not quality. But now that I've started, I'd kind of like it to be something I'm proud of. So I'm slowing down, thinking about it, and trying to decide what to do next.

I do declare, "I give up!"

And now I push it forth into the world.
