I love when you look around and realise that you are, in fact, growing up. Changing. Learning, even.

I have two papers due on Friday. Although I certainly haven't done as much work as I should have, I have researched, thought, and visited hell the library. No words on the page yet, but I've prepared. By far the best I've ever done as far as University essays are concerned.

And today, our gracious Almighty Father rewarded me! I woke up, rubbed my fists into my eye sockets, yawned, and opened my email inbox (admittedly, to procrastinate) - and what was there? An email from my Shakespeare Prof extending our essay due date, and an email from a lovely co-worker offering to take tonight's shift off my hands.

So... I be broke, but I be happy.

Bring it on, "Sex and Gender in Romantic Sensibility"!
