Nearly free, sort-of-free, and just plain damn free

Three more days of work. I think I may go mental. Why is it that the closer you get to being done, the harder it gets?

The Ben and Jack concert rocked exactly to my expectations. Why don't more people dance at concerts? It was so great to just close my eyes and move to that music all night, rather than the usual claustrophobic neck-straining to catch a glimpse of the stage. Besides, we could get those glimpses from where we were dancing anyway.

Some more random updates:

1. I chopped my hair off. Well, not all of it - but it's the shortest it's been since about Grade 6. And then the assholes tried to charge me 200 bucks for it. But someone must have been watching out for me that day, because the trainee girl mistyped in the debit machine and only charged me 100. I didn't even notice at the time, or I would have had to say something... thank God for my lack of attention at the debit pinpad. I don't plan on going back to that salon for a while.

2. After that, on the way out of the concert, just as I was wishing I'd shelled out the 30 bucks for a t-shirt, I found one on the ground. The girly one that I'd wanted. I feel a little sad that someone lost their shirt... but I'm still glad I have one now.

3. We just watched The Life of David Gale... most predictable movie I've seen in a while. Either that or I'm just brilliant. I have a feeling it's the former.

4. One last trip to SSI before school starts. I'm excited.

5. I'm in love with the boy from my Safewalk group interview. In. LOVE. Now I want that job for a whole other reason.

I'm not feeling particularly creative tonight. I think I should be packing anyway.
