Numbers

Above are all the numbers that define who I am at the moment... actually, not even all of them. Just the ones that affect me on a minimum of a monthly basis. Student numbers, SIN numbers, Care Card, bank accounts, telus client numbers.... etc etc (and all out of order, for my own safety, of course).

Sometimes it's hard not to feel like a number.

And it makes me wonder... what would happen if the computers and shite that held all these numbers just stopped... Y2K style, would I still exist? Can someone rob me of my identity if they rob these numbers, a la Sandra Bullock in The Net?

Probably not. But it's a lot of numbers for one little person. Makes you wonder.
