"Self-conscious" means, literally, to be aware of ourselves. So why is it exactly that this term is almost always used in a negative context? Why must we be sad or disappointed or unsatisfied when considering ourselves?
Hmm.
Also, does the term "health food" seem dumb to anybody? Food IS FOR HEALTH. It is fuel. Well, that was the original idea anyhow. It's sort of sad that we've messed with our eating habits and food production so badly that "health food" is the minority in the store that must be singled out in a 'special' section.
Hmm.
(I ate half a box of chocolates today. Vow to eat well officially broken.)
