Flyin' The Coop

Yesterday was Arts County Fair, and oh, what a gong show. For those of you who don't know, ACF is a huge concert put on at the end of the year here at UBC, which is effectively a Thunderbird Stadium-sized beer garden and no sober people to be found. Anyway, I know I talk about this a lot, but I feel so stuck between being a kid and being an 80 year old. Not that I didn't have fun, but there's only so much I can take of dirt and drunkenness and mud and vomit and... well, University. Not to suggest that I didn't get ridiculous, of course. But of course, I wasn't like THEM, no siree... *ahem*

Anyway, ACF went off well, a HUGE congrats to Kaitlin for being the goddess of the fair. So proud.

I'm now running off the island to seclude myself and do homework. 2 papers due on the same day that I have my first final exam. How sick is that?

Oh, and if any of you want to laugh out loud, get a book called Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris. SO HILARIOUS! Cheers to Matt and Riss for winning the Best Christmas Present award - I haven't laughed out loud to a book in way too long.

Alright, I'm flyin'...
