Katy Simpson: Porno Tycoon. Well, a girl can dream...

Today I laughed like a child. Laughed until my sides ached, until I couldn't make any more sound, but just shook and cried and thumped my fist on the table. It's been a while since I've felt as silly as I felt today.

I really do love my friends.

Today was one of those gross days where I stayed inside under the flourescent lighting breathing recycled air and staring at my computer screen. I feel gross because of it. Totem-sickness. Ew.

On the plus side, my computer is now reformatted and happy.

Today was a day of zero intellectual stimulation. This is further explained by my homework: a Canadian novel from the 1920s which reads like a Harlequin romance. Except it's from the 20's, so there's no sex... yeah, exactly. Anyway, this explains why I have so little to say. The most noteworthy part of my day involved my counter. Counter you say? Yes, I have a counter on this journal that tells me who you are and how you got here.

Creeped out?

Don't worry, I can't actually tell who you are (just your IP address, which means nothing to me). I can, however, tell how you got here. Some of you have me bookmarked, some got here from a blog directory, some from the links on Matt and Jeremy's sites, and some found me on Google. The interesting part is that if someone reaches me through Google, it tells me what they entered in the search field.

I find it very entertaining that the search fields for today read: "embarrassing boy's boarding school stories" and "tara reid's boobs."

Hmm... i'm pseudo-pornographic. That's a nice thought for the day.
