Turn Up The Hooooch!

Fun times were had by all tonight with a nice little adventure into skanky-land (a.k.a. "Durty Nell's Cellar.") The cougs were in the house and I would like to thank them for making me seem even more young and attractive in comparison. This is probably what led to the excess of boys trying to pick me up... okay, tonight's definition of "excess" is two but that's a lot for me in this city and besides, one of them kissed my hand. So cute. Almost cute enough to take seriously. Then I smack myself and blame it on the Singapore Slings because I just can't see myself at 70 in my rockin' chair with my knitting in my lap telling the grandkids the story of Granny & Grampa hookin' it up at a skank-bar called "Durty Nell's Cellar," you know?

Not that I think of the possibility of marrying every person who comes on to me. Okay, I take that back, I do. But like I said, I'm a planner. If I've ever met you, I've probably imagined what our kids would look like and written down "Kathryn June [insert your last name here]" in my journal just to try it on for size. Females included. I think Liz and I would have cute kids indeed... but I'd probably keep my own last name because "Katy Stacey" sounds too much like a Barbie doll or a character from The Babysitter's Club... not to mention, as much as I love you Liz, I just don't swing that way.

listening: JLo - Jenny From The Block (remixed)
reading: Palm Reading: A Little Guide to Life's Secrets - Dennis Fairchild
watching: Talk To Her (Almodovar does it again... a definate must-see, if only for the silent scene involving a tiny man scaling boobies like mountains and then climbing inside of a giant plastic vagina... i bet you want to see it now don't you? Don't you? I knew it...)
